Limassol City Highlights
Marina, castle and old town — Limassol when you stay close to port.
A lighter Limassol day: marina waterfront, medieval castle, old-town lanes and café time. Honest offering — excellent for short calls or second visits; first-timers should still consider Kourion if hours allow.
Taxi or coach from New Port to marina and castle quarter. Guided orientation then free time for coffee, shopping and photos.
No Kourion, no Aphrodite's Rock — by design. Pair with an independent afternoon only if your all-aboard buffer remains healthy.
First-time visitors with 7+ hours should read our first-timer guide before choosing city-only.

Getting there from the cruise port
Cruise ships dock at Limassol New Port / passenger terminal. City marina and old town are roughly 10–15 minutes away. Kourion lies about 20–25 minutes west along the coast. Aphrodite's Rock (Petra tou Romiou) is typically 40–50 minutes. Troodos Mountains need longer — allow 1–1.5 hours each way. Confirm your all-aboard time and keep a 60–90 minute return buffer.
Tips for cruise passengers
- Ideal after a previous Cyprus call
- Check castle opening hours
- Save energy — heat still builds midday
